Creative Dining Services is seeking an Area Director (District Manager) for a multi-state higher education portfolio based near major airports. You will lead and develop Food Service Directors, drive food quality, guest satisfaction, and financial performance across campuses.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and people development, with travel 75-80% to support campuses and client partners. Bachelor’s degree in related field required; advanced degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Culinary Management, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Previous multi-site contract foodservice experience within colleges/universities.
• 10+ years of related operations experience.
• 7-10+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• 3+ years overseeing multiple locations and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Food Service Directors across multiple campuses.
• Drive operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and safety initiatives.
• Monitor financial performance; analyze metrics and drive profitability.
• Develop future leaders through coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
• Build trusted client relationships and support campus partnerships.
