Job summary

Genuine Foods is seeking a full-time Cook to join our production kitchen, serving school communities with fresh, scratch-made meals. You will prepare and plate according to recipes, uphold food safety, and collaborate with a supportive team to deliver timely service in a busy school environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of line cook or culinary experience, a flexible, team-oriented mindset, and the stamina to lift up to 50 lbs; punctuality and reliability are essential as you follow

At least 1 year of line cook or culinary experience.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and level-headedness.
Punctual and able to adhere to the time and attendance policy.
Ability to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
Interest in Genuine Foods’ mission to use food to enhance students' minds, bodies, and happiness.

Responsibilities

Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times.
Cook and prep food accurately based on recipes and specifications.
Coordinate with team members to ensure all food is prepared on time for service.
Maintain a clean working environment and assist with cleaning duties.
Keep area stocked and organized.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
