Job summary

Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH is seeking a Food Service Associate A to join the Courtyard Cafe team. Under close supervision, you will set up serving lines, serve food from counters, stock and clean dining areas, and assist with catering orders.

This is a regular full-time, 9-month (term) position with a 40-hour work week and a Wednesday–Saturday schedule. Prior food service experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience in food service operations; or the equivalent.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Carries trays and containers of food from kitchen to serving area.
• Stocks and arranges food and supplies at steamtables and counters.
• Serves food to cafeteria patrons and prepares hot and cold beverages.
• Cleans tables and dining areas and follows sanitation procedures.
• Assists with daily catering orders as needed.
