Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Campus Dietitian to join our Nutrition Team in Abilene, TX. This role requires RD credentials and involves hands-on education, menu planning, and nutrition programming across the campus dining environment.

The position supports the university community with allergy-aware dining, group counseling, and wellness initiatives, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities. The schedule is Monday–Friday with some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the CDR or RD Eligible.
• Licensure by the state board where applicable.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and group formats.
• Experience with special diets and food allergies.
• ServSafe Manager Certification is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications and nutrient analysis programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides nutrition education & training support for the campus community including tabling, lunch & learn sessions, one-on-one counseling.
• Implements Chartwells Higher Education wellness programming.
• Coordinates with dining management and culinary teams to meet dietary needs.
• Provides nutrition training including food allergen training to associates.
• Assists with menu development and nutrient analysis.
• Collaborates with marketing for nutrition messaging.
• Oversees operations and hands-on dining room work to ensure service excellence.
• Partners with campus offices and departments to align with university goals.
