Job summary
Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services seeks a Campus Dietitian in Houston, TX to join the University of Houston nutrition team. This full-time role requires RD credentials (or RD-eligible) and offers a Monday–Friday schedule with competitive pay and benefits.
The Campus Dietitian will provide nutrition education, lead wellness programming, support menu development and nutrient analysis, and collaborate with dining and campus partners to align with university goals.
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian credentials or RD-eligible
- Licensed by the state Dietetics Licensing Board where applicable
- Ability to present information in one-on-one and group formats
- Experience with special diets and food allergies
- ServSafe Manager Certification a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and nutrient analysis tools
Responsibilities
- Provides nutrition education and counseling for the campus community.
- Implements wellness programming and collaborates with dining/culinary teams.
- Coordinates with dining management to meet dietary needs.
- Provides nutrition training including allergen education.
- Assists menu development and nutrient analysis.
- Collaborates with marketing for accurate nutrition messaging.
- Leads Dining Services sustainability efforts with campus stakeholders.
- Oversees operations in dining spaces and trains associates.
