Job summary

Ohlone College seeks a Director of Campus Development and Maintenance to lead facilities operations, planning, and budget management across campus services. The role requires strategic leadership, strong communication, and a focus on equitable service delivery to all departments.

The candidate will manage custodial, grounds, and skilled trades, oversee environmental and safety compliance, and support long-term facility planning while engaging with diverse staff and student groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or eight years’ experience in construction, maintenance operations, or related field.
• Must demonstrate responsiveness to diverse student populations and equity-minded practices.
• Valid California Class C driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct custodial, grounds, and skilled trades services to execute goals and objectives.
• Manage department budget, purchasing, bids, and program reviews.
• Ensure compliance with laws, codes, and safety standards in facilities operations.
• Supervise staff, approve PTO, participate in recruitment, and evaluate performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
