Job summary

Ohlone Community College seeks a Director of Campus Development and Maintenance to lead campus facilities, including skilled trades, grounds, and custodial services. You will oversee maintenance planning, safety, compliance, and capital projects to support the college mission.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic and operational leader, skilled at communicating with diverse departments and delivering exceptional customer service while guiding long-term facility planning and budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years in construction, maintenance operations, or related field.
• Demonstrated responsiveness to and understanding of diverse backgrounds to equity-minded practices.
• Experience leading facilities, custodial, grounds, and skilled trades operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct custodial, grounds, and skilled trades services to meet college goals and comply with policies.
• Manage annual department budget, expenditures, and procurement of facilities-related services.
• Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local construction and facilities regulations.
• Manage staffing, recruitment, performance evaluations, and discipline for supervisors and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
