Job summary

Qualifications

• BA, BS or BArch in a technical field related to building design/construction management.
• 7+ years of experience managing large, diverse project teams including renovations/new construction.
• Ability to read design and construction contracts and documents.
• Experience with budgets, schedules, scope, and quality management.
• Strong written and verbal communication, ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage design, engineering, legal, construction and other professionals for major capital projects.
• Develop collaborative environment among Schools/Centers, contractors and FRES divisions.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, financial records, and reports through project closeout.
• Coordinate meetings, issue monthly status reports, ensure permits and zoning compliance.
• Verify work and process payments to architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Mentor junior staff and manage projects in occupied facilities.
