Job summary

SMS Data Products Group, Inc. is hiring a Datacenter Network Architect for the AFCENT NOSC contract at Shaw AFB, SC. The role focuses on designing campus/datacenter architectures, supporting 24/7 enterprise network operations, and delivering WAN/LAN, O&M, and cybersecurity support to AFCENT and coalition partners.

The candidate will work on Cisco networking, 802.1x, and various routing protocols, with potential CONUS TDY travel and on-site responsibilities at Shaw AFB, SC.

Qualifications

• Associates in related field or 5+ years IT experience.
• Knowledge of what constitutes a threat to a network.
• Experience with Microsoft server installation, roles, Active Directory, storage, and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of 802.1x.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer campus/datacenter architecture.
• Provide CONUS TDY support and OCONUS travel as required.
• Provide functional training and meetings/briefings support.
• Provide documentation/reports support and IT management assistance.
• Develop reports and trend analysis on bandwidth and network security incidents.
