Washington State University is seeking a Custodian 2 to maintain cleanliness and functionality across residence halls, dining facilities, and campus spaces. You will perform custodial tasks and minor maintenance, using power tools and PPE as needed, while occasionally supervising junior staff.

Applicants should have at least six months in custodial or related work, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds as part of routine duties on site in Pullman, WA.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in custodial, general or building maintenance, grounds keeping, or semi-skilled carpentry, electrical and/or plumbing repair work, or equivalent education/experience.
• Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license and meet driving standards.
• Position Sponsorship Eligibility: Not eligible for work visa sponsorship

Responsabilités

• Maintain cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of residence halls, apartments, dining facilities, and campus spaces.
• Perform custodial and minor maintenance tasks, including cleaning and basic repairs.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment and power tools while wearing PPE.
• Move and transport heavy items and equipment up to 50 pounds; stand, bend and climb as required.
• Potentially supervise lower-level staff.
