Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Green Bay is seeking a dependable 1st Shift Custodian to join our facilities team. You will clean offices, classrooms, and restrooms; care for floors and furnishings; wash windows and surfaces; and support waste, recycling, and supply management, traveling between campus locations as needed.

Under supervision of the Custodial Services Supervisor, you will help maintain a safe, welcoming campus that supports student success and community engagement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent at time of application.
• Possession of or eligibility to obtain a valid drivers license upon appointment.
• Basic computer skills including the ability to use e-mail and internet.

Responsibilities

• Documents and reports repairs, violations, and pest control needs.
• Utilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclables.
• Maintains clean and clear walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and ice.
• Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory, and requests additional supplies as needed.
• Monitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances and reports issues to appropriate entities.
