Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Green Bay is seeking a dependable 1st shift Custodian to join the facilities team. You will clean offices, classrooms, restrooms, and support with moves, snow removal, and routine maintenance across campus locations under supervision. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and timely service to support student success and community engagement.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and basic computer skills. The position runs 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required at time of application.
• Possession of or eligibility to obtain a valid driver's license upon appointment.
• Basic computer skills including ability to use e-mail and internet.

Responsibilities

• Documents and reports repairs, violations, and pest control needs.
• Utilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclables.
• Maintains clean and clear walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and ice.
• Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory, and requests additional supplies as needed.
• Monitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances and reports issues to appropriate entities.
