Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Green Bay is seeking a dependable 1st Shift Custodian to join our facilities team. You will clean offices, classrooms, restrooms, and support snow removal across campus locations, reporting to the Custodial Services Supervisor.

Responsibilities include maintaining supplies, moving furniture, and ensuring safe, clean spaces that support student success and community engagement. Competitive hourly wages and a strong benefits program are included.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent at time of application.
• Possession of or eligibility to obtain a valid driver's license upon appointment.
• Basic computer skills including the ability to use e-mail and internet.

Responsibilities

• Documents and reports repairs, violations, and pest control needs.
• Utilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclables.
• Maintains clean and clear walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and ice.
• Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory, and requests additional supplies as needed.
• Monitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances and reports issues to appropriate entities.
