SSC Services for Education, a Compass Group company, is seeking a Custodial Manager for College Station, TX. You will oversee the overall cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of campus buildings, coordinating janitorial staff and collaborating with campus leadership to ensure service excellence.

The ideal candidate has seven years of custodial or facilities management experience, plus five years in supervisory roles.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of custodial or facilities management experience.
• Five (5) years of supervisory experience managing multiple leaders.
• Experience overseeing large-scale custodial operations (>1,000,000 sq ft) preferred.
• Experience in higher education, healthcare, hospitality, or large institutional environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of and coordinate janitorial activities across campus facilities.
• Provide guidance, supervision, and mentorship to supervisors and hourly staff.
• Conduct regular inspections and address issues to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Manage equipment maintenance and inventory of supplies.
• Serve as liaison between building occupants and custodial staff to align with customer expectations.
• Plan staffing, scheduling, and cross-train staff for versatility.
• Monitor budgetary performance and contribute to cost-effective operations.
