Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of full-time food prep experience.
• Knowledge of kitchen safety practices.
• Ability to read weights and measures and weigh ingredients.
• Experience with various cooking methods including sautéing, frying, grilling, steaming.
• Ability to use knives and standard kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, replenish, and maintain salad bars and service areas.
• Assist cooks by combining ingredients and arranging meals to order.
• Follow food safety, rotation, and storage practices to reduce waste.
• Serve meals to students and staff with a friendly demeanor.
• Collaborate with a diverse team to keep dining operations efficient.
