UW-La Crosse invites applications for a Psychologist, Crisis Coordinator to lead suicide prevention efforts and urgent care services within the Counseling & Testing Center. This thightly integrated role combines clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and program development to support students across campus.

The successful candidate will perform in-person and telehealth counseling, supervise staff, and collaborate with campus police, health services, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited clinical or counseling psychology program.
• Licensed in Wisconsin or eligible to apply for WI license by reciprocity.
• Significant experience with crisis intervention and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead suicide prevention and emergency response for the Counseling & Testing Center (CTC).
• Coordinate urgent care services and campus crisis response plans.
• Perform advanced psychological assessments (intakes), crisis assessments, triage, and counseling services (individual, couples, group).
• Supervise and mentor clinicians; provide training and outreach to campus and community partners.
