Job summary

UW-La Crosse's Counseling & Testing Center is seeking a Counselor, Underserved Populations Coordinator for a 10-month, full-time appointment. The role includes mental health assessments, crisis interventions, and individual/group counseling, with a focus on students from underserved populations and collaboration with campus partners.

Independent licensure is required (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or eligibility by reciprocity.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of licensed mental health experience.
• Experience on a college campus or with underserved student populations is preferred.
• Independently licensed in Wisconsin or eligible for reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct individual, group, crisis, and occasional couples counseling.
• Conduct intake, triage, and crisis assessments and referrals.
• Develop campus partnerships to improve access for underserved students.
• Engage in outreach and training to collaborate with campus offices.
