Job summary

University of Wisconsin–La Crosse seeks a Psychologist, Crisis Coordinator to provide direct and urgent care, triage, and group/individual therapy for students. The role leads suicide prevention, coordinates campus crisis response, and represents the center with local partners.

Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in psychology and be licensed or eligible in Wisconsin. The position is full-time, with some evenings and a hybrid/onsite schedule as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Independently licensed in Wisconsin or eligible by reciprocity.
• Experience with crisis intervention and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced psych assessments and crisis risk evaluations with supervision of staff as needed.
• Develop treatment plans, safety plans, and coordinate urgent care and crisis response.
• Supervise clinicians, provide training, and participate in university and committee work.
• Deliver individual and group therapy, and collaborate with campus police and community partners.
