Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work with Pennsylvania license.
• Strongly preferred 5+ years of experience in crisis assessment, evaluation and treatment and psychotherapy.
• Experience working with college-aged clients and diverse student populations, including LGBTQA+ and international students.
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary university setting.
• Willingness to provide referrals for psychopharmacological evaluation and external counseling as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological evaluation/assessment, crisis intervention and psychotherapy.
• Engage in outreach activities within the Wilkes University community.
• Collaborate with campus support services to coordinate care.
• Make referrals for psychopharmacological evaluation and external ongoing counseling.
• Refer to emergency mental health services when appropriate.
