Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Unencumbered PA licensure (LPC, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist) or equivalent.
• At least three years of professional counseling experience with young adults.
• Strong cultural competency with diverse populations (color, LGBTQ+, abilities, faiths).
• Commitment to diversity, equity, belonging and inclusion.
• Background clearances required (PA Criminal, Child Abuse, FBI).

Responsibilities

• Provide in‑person individual and group counseling.
• Perform risk assessment and emergency interventions.
• Offer consultation to students, faculty, and staff.
• Supervise graduate practicum students.
• Provide referral services to external resources when higher level care is needed.
• Develop and implement culturally and trauma‑informed outreach programs.
• Collaborate with campus partners and participate in campus service opportunities.
• Work the Counseling Center schedule (Mon–Fri 8:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.) with occasional evenings.
