Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field; required.
• Licensed in PA; required.
• Three years of full-time counseling experience; required.
• One year in student counseling setting; preferred.
• Experience in group counseling; preferred.
• Experience in development/implementation of treatment plans; required.
• Experience in alcohol/drug counseling; required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and time-limited counseling and psychotherapy for students.
• Develop and provide group counseling and psychotherapy for groups or specific clinical issues.
• Deliver campus outreach through programs, workshops, trainings on wellness and mental health topics.
• Consult with parents, faculty, deans, residence life, health services, disability services, and students with authorization for quality care.
• Provide oversight, case management, and supervision to interns and practicum students.
• Assist supervisor in marketing and publicity of department activities and programs.
• Maintain clinical records and statistics/documentation of contacts.
• Follow ethical and professional standards of counseling and the College.
• Be present in Residence Life to provide on-location programming.
• Participate in staff meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities.
