SDSU Imperial Valley is seeking a compassionate mental health clinician to provide a broad range of psychological services to SDSU students, including individual, group, couples, and family counseling, crisis intervention, trauma response, and prevention education. The role includes collaboration with faculty, staff, and community partners to strengthen campus well-being and resource access.

Qualifikationen

• Terminal degree in psychology-related field.
• Current California licensure as a psychologist (PhD/PsyD), LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC; or eligibility for licensure.
• Demonstrated clinical effectiveness using multicultural counseling approaches.
• Experience with case management, brief interventions, crisis management, and complex ethical and legal issues.

Aufgaben

• Provide student-centered clinical care: individual, group, couples or family counseling using culturally informed approaches.
• Respond to crises with emergency assessment, suicide intervention, trauma response, and referrals.
• Develop and deliver prevention education, workshops, and wellness programming.
• Consult and connect with faculty, staff, families, student organizations, and campus departments to coordinate support.
• Lead outreach efforts to increase awareness of counseling and mental health resources.
