Responsibilities include following recipes, portioning, maintaining temperatures, safe handling, sanitation, ordering and receiving supplies, and reporting maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Prior high-volume food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes to meet schedules and service needs.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery with correct portions and temperatures, aiming for quality and appeal.
• Maintains records from the area worked during service periods.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation, stores or discards excess food per safety procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and properly stored.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, reporting, and in ordering/receiving food and supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues or faulty equipment to supervisor; attends safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
