Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Campus Intern in Sioux Falls, SD to support project teams on construction and administration tasks. You will monitor crew size, materials, and progress, while gaining real-world experience under close supervision.

Enrollment in a Bachelor's program is required. You will develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, and contribute to safety and project close-out activities. This paid internship offers hands-on exposure.

Qualifications

• Open to enrolled students pursuing construction, engineering or related fields.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Willingness to learn and take direction on project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams with daily tasks including monitoring crew size and materials.
• Provide progress updates and compile basic reports for leadership.
• Participate in job site observations with project leadership.
• Support project close-out activities such as punch lists and as-built drawings.
• Assist with pricing/bid coordination and vendor communication.
• Support safety plan implementation and culture on site.
• Build relationships with team members, trade partners and clients.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
