Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education is seeking an Assistant Director of Dining Services - Concessions for the University of Maryland Baltimore County Event Center. The role focuses on leading a high-energy dining team, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving culinary excellence in a dynamic client environment.

You’ll work closely with the Chef and management to innovate menus, support client relations, and develop staff while upholding Chartwells standards of care and performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of food service management experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, or related food service operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial experience and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Works with the Chef and management team to create nutritious, top quality food.
• Implements new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Maintains excellent relationships with the client.
• Manages, trains, and develops associates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
