Job summary

SST Schools is seeking a Campus Character & Community Engagement Coordinator to advance the Character Education Initiative and strengthen family and community engagement across campus. This role reports to the Campus Dean of Students and coordinates implementation with the District Character Education Coordinator.

Responsibilities include organizing clubs and mentoring programs, coordinating engagement events for students, parents, and staff, and aligning campus activities with Character.org

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Successful teaching and/or school leadership experience preferred.
• Prior experience in character education, student leadership, school culture, or related initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote creation and development of new clubs and identify potential club advisors; provide resources and training.
• Support club advisors for fundraising opportunities and supervise club projects and fundraisers.
• Support stakeholders in identifying, developing, and maintaining mentoring programs.
• Organize, support, and coordinate engagement activities and events for students, parents, and staff.
• Create programs to help students to and through high school and college.
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to fulfill the school mission and goals.
• Analyze and evaluate FACE programs and provide data to administration.
• Meet with principal and District Coordinator to report concerns.
• Collaborate on middle-high school transition, internships, scholarships, and senior-alumni transition.
• Organize college trips, in/out-of-state trips, camps, and culture events.
• Oversee Before/After School Care Program.
• Coordinate and support campus implementation of Character Education Initiative.
• Lead development and review of Campus Character Action Plan for the assigned high school.
