Qualifications

• Holds or is eligible for a Virginia teaching license.
• Demonstrated knowledge of subject content, curriculum, and effective teaching methodologies.

• Skilled in multimedia and computer technology to enhance learning.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with students, peers, and parents.
• Strong written and verbal communication; capable of meeting deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and nurture a positive school climate during the academic day and co-curricular activities.
• Collaborate with staff, students, parents and the community to promote engagement.
• Coordinate remediation and credit recovery activities with staff and track participation.
• Monitor chronic absenteeism and address attendance issues.
• Provide opportunities for student voice and feedback.
• Analyze data to inform school climate improvements.
• Supervise activities and manage related budgets under the Principal.
• Publicize and coordinate supervision schedules and building use.
