Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities is seeking a Chaplain to provide compassionate pastoral care to residents, families and coworkers, and to lead ecumenical worship and spiritual programs on campus.

The role emphasizes building relationships, accompanying residents through health changes and life transitions, and collaborating with campus teams to weave spirituality into daily life across all levels of care.

Qualifications

• Degree in ministry or related field, preferably M.Div.
• Ordained, licensed, or endorsed for ministry
• Ability to build trusting relationships with residents and staff
• Strong preaching, teaching, and pastoral care skills
• Comfortable serving diverse faith backgrounds

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral care and spiritual guidance through regular visits
• Lead weekly ecumenical worship and religious observances
• Support residents and families through health changes and transitions
• Coordinate with local clergy and faith communities
• Develop spiritual life programming and resident groups
• Collaborate with campus leadership to integrate spirituality into daily life
