Job summary

Country Meadows in Hershey, PA is seeking a Chaplain to provide compassionate pastoral care to residents, families and coworkers through regular visitation, listening and relationship-building. You will lead ecumenical worship, support life transitions and coordinate spiritual life programming.

This full-time role requires the ability to collaborate with campus teams, honor diverse faiths and remain present during crises. A ministry degree (M.Div.

Qualifications

• Degree in ministry or related field from an accredited institution.
• Recognition, certification or endorsement from a recognized religious body.
• Ordained, licensed or endorsed for ministry within a recognized faith tradition.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with residents, families and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral care, spiritual guidance and support through regular visitation and listening.
• Support residents and families through health changes, life transitions and end-of-life needs.
• Lead weekly ecumenical worship services and religious observances.
• Coordinate with local clergy and faith communities to support residents' faith practices.
• Develop and lead spiritual life programming, including devotions and discussion groups.
• Create opportunities for spiritual well-being across all levels of care.
• Advocate for residents’ spiritual and cultural needs as part of the care team.
• Collaborate with campus leadership to integrate spirituality into daily life.
• Provide spiritual and emotional support to coworkers, including during crises.
• Coordinate spiritual life services and participate in meetings and education.
