Job summary

Student PIRGs is hiring campus organizers to build a greener, healthier future on more than 100 campuses. As a Campus Organizer, you’ll recruit volunteers, train students and lead strategic campaigns on environmental, public health, and democracy issues.

You’ll build coalitions, run summer canvassing, and help run a student‑funded organization while fundraising for campaigns. The target annual compensation is $40,000–$44,450 depending on location and experience, with comprehensive health,

Responsibilities

Recruit and inspire volunteers to petition, host events and more.
Help students run strategic campaigns on major issues.
Build a diverse, invested coalition of organizations.
Train students to be effective social change leaders.
Build a sustainable, student-run organization on campus through fundraising and relationships.
Run a summer citizen outreach office and lead canvass teams to fundraise.
Be flexible to work at different locations as needed.
Build the movement by recruiting volunteers and organizers.
