Job summary

Student PIRGs is seeking Campus Organizers to work on college campuses nationwide. You will recruit students, train leaders, organize campaigns on environmental, health, and democracy issues, and build a sustainable, student-run chapter through fundraising and outreach.

You’ll lead summer canvassing teams to engage communities, coordinate with campus partners, and drive grassroots action to shape policy and protect public health. Competitive compensation supports growth and advancement.

Responsibilities

• As a campus organizer, recruit and inspire students to join campaigns and volunteer for petitions and events.
• Help students run strategic campaigns on issues like environmental protection and affordable college costs.
• Build coalitions with student organizations and other partners.
• Train students to organize events, engage media, and advocate with officials.
• Develop a self-sustaining campus chapter through fundraising and relationships.
• Lead a summer canvassing team to fundraise and mobilize grassroots support.
