Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking a Catering Manager to oversee planning, coordination, and on-site execution of catering events at West Virginia Wesleyan College. You will liaise with clients, culinary teams, and vendors to ensure seamless service and high standards.

Key responsibilities include managing event logistics, schedules, and vendor coordination; serving as main point of contact for clients; ensuring timely delivery and setup, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and customer

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in catering, food and beverage, events or related field.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordination of catering events from start to finish, including logistics, setup, and teardown.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, customizing orders, and ensuring all event details align with client expectations.
• Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules for catering orders, event rentals, and any additional materials required.
• Work with the culinary and operations teams to ensure all orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.
• Maintain a master calendar of events and deadlines, attending pre-event meetings and communicating event details to all relevant parties.
• Liaise with external vendors to arrange equipment, rentals, and other necessary services to support successful event execution.
• Provide on-site assistance during events, ensuring seamless execution and promptly addressing any last-minute issues.
• Manage catering supplies, equipment, and materials to ensure sufficient inventory levels for upcoming events.
• Ensure all food and services meet company standards for quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
