• Prior catering and leadership experience required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Catering Department employees.
• Prepares and serves food at functions under the Catering Director.
• May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
• Determines workload from catering orders.
• Discusses setup with function group leaders and handles changes.
• Delivers food and supplies to scheduled functions.
• Returns equipment to the catering facility.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards at events.
• Ensures proper presentation, portions and temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment and area.
• Cleans workstation after assignment.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints kindly.
• Follows sanitation and safety practices in handling food.
