Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. invites applications for a Cook position located on a university campus. You will handle the preparation, production and presentation of a variety of foods and maintain quality and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include planning with supervisors, completing production sheets, assisting with menu development, ensuring proper stocking and cleanliness, and may assist in training other staff. Strong English and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (minimum).
• Food Handler's Card or ServSafe Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Two years related work experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must speak/read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Performs main line food production duties as assigned.
• Reviews daily needs with supervisor, completes production sheets and checks supplies.
• Assists with menu and recipe development.
• Ensures quantity/quality control and sanitation of areas.
• May assist in supervision and training of staff.
• Arranges kitchen helpers for smaller prep tasks.
• Oversees serving lines; ensures proper stocking, setup and cleaning.
• Fills in for other food service positions when needed.
• Enforce rotation procedures for produce and dairy.
• Maintain equipment and storage sanitation.
• Other duties to support department success.
