Sodexo at East Tennessee State University is seeking a Cafeteria Cook for full-time, on-site work with varying shifts. You will prepare, cook, portion, and present hot and cold foods while upholding Sodexo's culinary standards and safety practices.

You'll work in a fast-paced kitchen, support team cooperation, and help ensure high-quality dining experiences with clean stations and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.
