Job summary

The Catholic Diocese of St. Petersburg is looking for a Building Services Engineer at Jesuit High School in Tampa, responsible for maintaining the campus buildings through effective management of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree or relevant trade certification and 3+ years of related experience. Strong skills in electrical or mechanical functions, along with knowledge of building management software, are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in related fields.
• Certification as Electrical and/or Mechanical Technician or equivalent.
• Experience with Access Controls, CCTV, and Lighting Controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain campus buildings through the implementation and maintenance of all building systems.
• Manage campus Building Automation System (BAS) and utility services.
• Coordinate scheduling for special events and assist in Operation and Capital Projects.

Skills

Construction and/or Maintenance project management experience

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings

Strong electrical and/or mechanical skills

Working knowledge of critical computer software

Education

Bachelor’s degree or relevant trade certification
