Job summary

Applied Digital is seeking a Campus Director – Build to lead the AI Factory campus delivery. You will oversee construction, safety, legal, finance, procurement, and operations integration, acting as the conductor for a multi-disciplinary team and ensuring timely, compliant delivery.

The role requires deep experience in large-scale data center projects, strong leadership, and a strategic mindset to align campus execution with company goals and community expectations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience managing large-scale data center design, construction, or critical infrastructure programs.
• Proven leadership overseeing multi-disciplinary teams (construction, commissioning, safety, vendor management, engineering).
• Experience managing full project lifecycle for data center builds—from site readiness through commissioning and hand-off to operations.
• Strong knowledge of critical systems (electrical, mechanical, BMS/EPMS, cooling, UPS, generators).

Responsibilities

• Establish baseline construction schedules coordinating with RFS dates and milestones.
• Manage overall project budget and cost reporting (Total Cost Report).
• Lead/select GC and primary subcontractors, with executive reviews and approvals.
• Negotiate contracts and risk mitigation strategies in alignment with leadership timelines.
• Develop execution team structure and assist in recruitment for campus construction.
• Maintain quality control and EHS practices for campus construction activities.
• Coordinate with municipality and external affairs for community engagement.
