Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work or related field.
• Valid California mental health license (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW, PSY) or registration.
• Minimum one year of experience with college/university students or young adults.
• Experience in crisis services or public health settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, therapy, intervention and consultation services to UC Berkeley students, staff and faculty.
• Coordinate crisis de-escalation, welfare checks and short-term treatment within an integrated health model.
• Record progress notes in the EHR and coordinate with campus care teams.
• Collaborate with colleagues in multidisciplinary meetings and campus partners to ensure positive client outcomes.
• Lead outreach and education activities with campus partners, students and community.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with university policies and procedures.
