Qualifications

• Masters or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Valid California mental health license (e.g., Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) or eligible registration.
• Minimum one year of behavioral health crisis or college student services experience.
• BLS certification per UHS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, therapy, intervention and consultation for UC Berkeley students, staff and faculty.
• Perform crisis de-escalation, welfare checks and suicidality/harm risk assessments.
• Coordinate care with hospital and campus services; document in the EHR.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and shared decision-making with clients.
• Support outreach, trainings, and program development across campus.
