Job summary

CIS of Central Texas is seeking a full-time Program Manager to lead CIS services at Pecan Springs Elementary School in Austin, TX. As the site-based leader, you’ll collaborate with school administrators to integrate CIS programming with school activities, empowering students to set and meet goals and supporting families.

This role provides leadership for CIS staff, AmeriCorps members, interns, and volunteers, and requires a bachelor’s in social work or related field; an MSW is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, human services, or related field; MSW preferred.
• Demonstrated English/Spanish speaking skills; crisis intervention, assessments, and referrals experience.
• Experience with case management and supporting students and families.

Responsibilities

• Program Administration: design and assess needs to inform program design and resource allocation.
• Campus Management: maintain relationships with campus staff, market the program and establish referral processes.
• Data Management and Evaluation: implement data systems to evaluate program effectiveness and campus operations.
• Campus Team Management: hire, onboard, train, supervise and evaluate CIS staff and volunteers.
• Student Services: provide counseling, parental engagement and case management support.
• Campus and Community Relationships: represent CIS at meetings and organize events.
