Job summary

Communities In Schools of Central Texas is seeking a full-time Program Manager to lead CIS services at Zavala Elementary School in Austin, TX. You will coordinate program design, staffing, and student support, integrating CIS with school activities to help students meet goals and engage families.

You will also manage data, supervise staff and AmeriCorps members, and build strong campus and community partnerships to advance academic and non-academic student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, human services or related field; MSW preferred.
• Demonstrated English/Spanish speaking skills, highly preferred.
• Experience with crisis intervention, assessments and referrals.
• Group counseling and supportive guidance; case management experience.
• Experience working with school-age youth, families and parents/guardians.

Responsibilities

• Program Administration: design and support, campus management, data management and evaluation.
• Campus Team Management: hiring, onboarding, training, development and supervision.
• Student Services: counseling, parental engagement, case management.
• Campus and Community Relationships: represent CIS, organize events and communications.
• Additional Responsibilities: perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

Bachelor's degree in social work

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
