Job summary

At Sodexo, Weber State University is seeking a Barista to deliver exceptional customer service while crafting hand-made beverages. This part-time role supports campus dining operations with varying shifts and open availability preferred.

You will greet guests, prepare drinks like espresso, cappuccino, tea, and more, educate guests on menu options, handle cash and POS duties, and maintain a clean coffee bar and service area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Customer service experience in food service preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation and inventory systems.
• Starbucks Baristas may be required to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and provides friendly, personalized service.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages including coffee and tea.
• Maintain good customer relations and speedy beverage delivery.
• Educate guests on menu offerings and suggest add-ons.
• Keep coffee bar displays attractive and clean; restock as needed.
• Record sales, handle cash, and operate the POS system.
• Able to walk/stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
