Sodexo is hiring a Barista for the SOUTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY location. The role is part-time with weekday morning shifts, requiring friendly customer service and barista skills to craft quality beverages and assist guests with menu choices.

You will handle cash, maintain the coffee bar, and ensure cleanliness, safety, and high service standards while contributing to a positive guest experience on campus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Customer Service related work experience.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards, and inventory control systems.
• Starbucks Baristas may be required to be certified.

Responsabilités

• Greets all guests and provides quick, friendly, and personalized service.
• Mixes and serves hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks, etc.
• Maintains good customer relations and speedy delivery of beverages and food items.
• Educates guests regarding menu offerings and initiates suggestive selling.
• Arranges coffee bar/cart supplies and cups/mugs for attractive displays.
• Cleans coffee machines, restaurant areas, and preparation areas.
• Records sales, handles cash, and operates a cash register.
• Able to walk/stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
