Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Barista at COLORADO MESA UNIVERSITY. The role offers either full-time or part-time hours with weekday morning shifts and an hourly pay range of $15.16 to $15.50. You will deliver exceptional service, craft beverages, and support daily cafe operations on campus.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, customer service experience, and knowledge of food safety and inventory controls. Some positions may require barista certification.

Qualifications

• Customer Service related work experience.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards and inventory control.
• Baristas may be required to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with quick, friendly, and personalized service.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages to order.
• Maintain beverage quality and speedy delivery of items.
• Educate guests on menu offerings and upsell when appropriate.
• Keep coffee bar and prep areas clean and organized.
• Record sales, handle cash, and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
