Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company is seeking a barista to craft and serve coffee and related food items at Colorado College in Colorado Springs. The role emphasizes HACCP-compliant food handling and friendly customer service during morning to evening shifts on weekdays, with occasional weekend/holiday coverage.

Applicants with prior barista experience are preferred, but willingness to be trained is also accepted. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare espresso orders for customers and cateringorders using standard recipes.
Enter orders into POS and process cash/credit payments.
Replenish condiments, beverages and supplies while keeping the service area clean.
Maintain proper temperatures and presentation per HACCP standards.
Keep equipment, supplies and utensils sanitary and organized.
Explain daily menu items accurately to customers.
Assist in upselling and guiding customers’ buying decisions.
Greet customers warmly and ensure a positive customer experience.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
