Sodexo at CORBAN UNIVERSITY is seeking a Barista to deliver exceptional customer service while crafting hand-made beverages. You will greet guests, prepare coffee, espresso, tea and other beverages to order, and contribute to a welcoming cafe experience.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, flexibility with shifts, and the ability to stand long hours. You will handle cash, maintain clean work areas, follow safety standards, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Customer Service related work experience.
• Must have knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards, and inventory control systems.
• Starbucks Baristas may be required to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide fast, friendly service.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages per customer specs.
• Maintain beverages and food delivery with accurate timing.
• Educate guests on menu offerings and upsell.
• Arrange coffee bar supplies and display cups.
• Clean coffee machines and work areas.
• Process sales and cash handling with accuracy.
• Stand/walk for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Attend shifts on time and follow account requirements.
• Other duties as assigned per account.
