Job summary

Chartwells Higher Ed Dining Services is hiring for Baker roles at Canisius University in Buffalo. You will prepare baked goods according to recipes and production specifications, and work with the team to meet daily production needs.

The position offers full-time and part-time schedules, with weekday early mornings. Prior baking experience is preferred, and training is provided to help you excel in a fast-paced campus dining environment.

Qualifications

• Prior baking experience preferred.
• Able to follow recipes and production specs.
• Weekday early mornings; full-time and part-time schedules.

Responsibilities

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries per production sheets.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards; use proper equipment.
• Keep production records including waste, used portions and shortages; notify supervisor if supplies are low.
• Ensure proper presentation, quality and serving temperatures; maintain sanitation.
