Job summary

LSU is seeking an AV Operations Analyst to support multimedia spaces across the LSU A&M campus. You will maintain high-level media control systems, perform diagnostics, and install AV and computer equipment for conference spaces.

The role reports to the AV Operations Manager and requires a Bachelor's degree with related experience. Preference for Crestron/Extron programming and live event support. This full-time on-site position offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1 year technical experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of audio-visual equipment.
• Familiarity with LCD monitors, projectors, document cameras, IP networking, sound systems, switchers, and software installation.
• Familiarity with computers and computer networking.

Responsibilities

• AV Multi-Media Room Support: Provides Tier 1 Audio Visual Support for technology in multimedia spaces. Advises staff about operation of equipment. Basic system troubleshooting.
• Diagnostic and Repair: Assist with diagnostics and repair of AV equipment; install and troubleshoot AV tech including switches, projectors, LED monitors, document cameras; coordinate firmware updates.
• Installation and Maintenance: Cabling/termination; maintain inventory and records; perform monthly room checks and full system checks.
• AV Events: Assist in setup/breakdown of live audio events; assist with production and operation of multiple audio consoles for university events.
• AV Trends: Evaluate and investigate technologies in support of AV operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
