Job summary

The University of Wyoming is seeking an Athletics Operator/Tech II - Custodial/Maintenance to keep Athletic Department facilities ready for events, practices, and functions on campus.

This on-campus role requires performing general maintenance, landscaping, cleaning, event setup, and supervising student employees, with the ability to work on campus at 7,220 feet above sea level and to be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1 year work-related experience.
• Valid driver''s license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP.
• Ability to supervise student employees.
• Ability to perform custodial and maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, landscaping, and cleaning on designated facilities.
• Provide setup and tear down for games and events (scoreboards, PA, video, audio).
• Lock or unlock designated facilities as directed.
• Operate and clean maintenance equipment; report damaged fixtures/equipment.
• Supervise student employees.
• Supervise part-time staff to ensure tasks are completed and on task.
