BASIS Independent Brooklyn Lower School is seeking a Campus Assistant to support faculty and staff and help maintain a safe, orderly school day for PreK–2 students. The role focuses on monitoring students, assisting with after-school and lunch programs, and performing clerical tasks as needed.

The position is temporary with an anticipated end date of June 23, 2027, offering a fast-paced, collaborative environment and room for growth within BASIS Independent Schools.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a high school diploma.
• Experience with children is preferred and valued.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor students during school hours and events.
• Perform clerical tasks as needed by the campus team.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Able to manage large groups of students before/after school and during lunch.
• Be punctual and reliable in all duties.
